Video Frequently Asked Questions -
How do I add my video to my Web Site?
- In your Video
Project you will see a button that reads ’Create Link’ When you click
this link it will generate a unique code for you or your IT department
to place in your web site. You may include your own text and/or HTML
code where it says ‘INSERT YOUR TEXT HERE’.
- I have
multiple videos that I want in one player?
- We support up
to 10 videos in a single player. You may add each video to your Video
Project. The user may select it from a drop down menu inside the player.
If you require support for large databases of videos we can create a
customized player. This player can include search functions, multiple
categories, and a custom design. Please call our office for further
information: 866.712.6287.
- I can’t find a player design
that matches my company’s web site?
- We are always adding
more designs to our system. At an extra cost we can build a custom
designed player to match your company’s color scheme and web site.
- How does the web video player work?
- The connection type is
determined when the user loads your video. A dial-up connection creates
a video of lower resolution and smaller size, whereas a high-speed
(broadband) offers a larger, higher quality video. A Macintosh will
receive QuickTime player and a PC receives Windows Media player.
-
What is a player image?
- Next to your text below the video,
you may insert a Company symbol/logo or a product image.. We recommend
that you use pictures with little detail and large objects, as the image
itself will be small.
- What should I insert in the text
fields?
- In the text fields you insert a title of the
video, name of your company, product slogans, contact information and
other supporting text, which helps to clarify the story of the video.
-
How long will a video take before it begins to play?
- On a
high-speed Internet connection (Broadband), your video should begin
playing in less than 10 seconds. On a dial up line, which gives a
smaller and lower quality video picture,
it begins to play in approximately 30 - 40 seconds.
- My
video will not play, what can I do?
- In order to play video on the Internet you need to have a web video player installed. We
support Windows Media for the PC and QuickTime for the Macintosh.
You may download the players at the following locations :
Windows
Media
QuickTime
- My video will play, but frequently skips or stops?
-
Videos that skip or stop are caused by network congestion... We have
optimized the video streams to work in most cases, but at times,
networks get overloaded. This is out of our control. Please try you
video again at a later time. If a problem persists contact our office:
